Welcome to the UPSU: Sailing & Powerboating Club 2009 -2010!
We are on the water twice per week for both the sailing & powerboating, with training sessions on Wed. & Sat. for groups of all ability from our base at Mount Batten Centre. We use a range of boats, including Laser 1 & Laser 2000 for those of advanced level and Laser Pico & Laser Stratos for those of beginner level [see: 'General Sailing']. Also, we own six team-race Fireflys for those of a competitive disposition, with events regularly through the year [see: 'Racing']. We use a range of R.I.B.s (both single 225HP engine craft and double 90HP engine craft) for the training sessions, owned by our Sailing & Powerboating Club sponsor, www.powerboatschool.com [see: 'Power'].
